Some people say that we barely use 10% of our brains and while that may be a common “urban myth”, the truth is that our brains really do have an immense power – even more than we can actually know.

Sure, there are people who are considered to be “geniuses”, but you don’t have to be an actual genius to use your brain at its maximum. All you need is to “boost” your brain power in the best ways possible – and following, we have gathered some of the very best tips in this direction. 1. Always be prepared to do new things


Stop viewing your brain as a “static” part of your body and start treating it just as a muscle. Same as a muscle, it needs practice and new exercises in order to become stronger. Your “new thing” doesn’t always have to be an actually new skill – even going on a new path to work will do the trick.


2. Be a curious person


Curiosity killed the cat – but at least it died as a happy and smart cat. Being a curious person pushes, again, your brain over its limits and trains it to learn new things – which is the best kind of exercise you can give your brain. There are a lot of things you can do if you want to have a stronger memory (and hence, a stronger brain too). However, some of the simplest ones include tasks such as remembering important phone numbers, credit card numbers and other series of numbers that are important for your daily life. Train your memory step by step and you will soon reap all the benefits that come with it!


4. Read


Some may think that reading is an activity of the “good, old days” and that nobody reads anymore. However, reading books is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your brain. It trains your creativity and imagination, it allows you to relax and exercise your brain muscle at the very same time and it also improves your ability to focus. Grab a good book and cuddle up in your favorite chair with it because your brain will surely thank you for doing this!

5. Find your way…without a GPS


OK, technology provides us with plenty of benefits and we couldn’t be more grateful for certain devices. However, if you want to train your brain to be stronger and more able to perform a variety of tasks, ditching the GPS is a really great thing to do. Grab a map (an actual, paper-made map) and try to find your way like this – it’s one of the very best exercises for your brain!
