Modern lifestyle comes with various lifestyle diseases. Here is how to avoid them.

Our modern lifestyles have brought about various lifestyle diseases that a majority of urban Indians are facing these days. Problems like obesity, diabetes, depression, malnutrition, hypertension, chronic backaches etc are affecting both men and women equally. But the time hasn't run out yet. There are few simple daily practices that you can follow to avoid such lifestyle diseases and lead a healthy life.


Brisk walking on a daily basis is one of the best ways of avoiding various lifestyle diseases. It helps in increasing the blood circulation, removes lactic and uric acids, press tight joints and balances your physical fitness.

Avoid fatty foods and abstain from unhealthy fast food. Munching during long working hours can result in fat accumulation, which without exercise can be dangerous for your heart.

Use proper chairs at work and at home. Long working hours in front of a computer results in back pain and neck pain. Correct your sitting posture and move around every half an hour. It helps in maintaining the blood circulation.

Go for periodic medical check ups. A stitch in time saves nine correctly applies for you health as well. If you know it in advance, it is curable.
