The Real Truth About Essential Oils that Nobody Talks About


Although a lot of people are using essential oils for successful treatment of health problems, the mainstream medical community is trying to refute such positive claims.

Essential oils are present all around us. For example: survival, natural health, DIY, mother blogs, etc. Therefore, the real question is whether essential oils are really helpful or they are merely quackery?
 
 
Essential oils have physical properties of plants and flowers in highly concentrated form. During the distillation process, the volatile constituents of the oil’s plant are extracted from its leaves, branches, roots or flowers. The compounds, carried by the essential oils, have a strongly concentrated form which enables very little therapeutic benefits.

Essential oils contain some of these chemical compounds: alcohols, esters, aldehydes, phenols, terpenes, etc. Moreover, most of the essential oils are antifungal, antiviral, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Some essential oils have an amazing antioxidant value. For example, one ounce of clove oil has an antioxidant capacity of 120 quarts of blueberries, 48 gallons of beetroot and 450 lbs of carrots.

Almost every essential oil has monoterpens. Besides enabling various healing properties, the essential power of monoterpenes is the reprogramming of miswritten information in the cellular memory. One drop of essential oil has enough molecules for every cell. One molecule is able to open a receptor in our bodies and communicate with the DNA in order to change the cellular function.

Approximately, there are around 40 million trillion molecules in one essential oil drop. They are very small and enter in your body through the skin. They have an amazing ability to enter the body through the lungs a spread through the entire body which is something that other medicaments are not able to do.

You can apply the essential oils topically, add it in food and bath or diffuse them. They are very helpful when it comes to headaches, indigestion, acne and allergies. Just several drops of oil to the arms, feet, abdomen, wrists or back brings relief.

Another positive side of the essential oil is cleaning of the receptor sites on the surface of the cells which enables quality cells communication. Essential oil can erase incorrect DNA and after that, correct it.

One Japanese study showed that breathing in essential oils can improve your nervous system functioning. Some oils were stimulating, others calming. So, according to Dr. Mercola: rose and patchouli oil are able to decrease 40 percent of the nervous system activity, fennel, grapefruit and black pepper oil showed 1.5 to 2.5 fold increase in the sympathetic activity of the nervous system, pepper oil- a 1.7 fold increase in the concentration of the plasma adrenaline, whereas rose oil caused the adrenaline to lower by 30 percent. Other oils showed that they are able to lower the stress hormones i.e. inhaling rosemary or lavender can reduce cortisol levels.

Upon buying essential oils, bear in mind that they differ from fragrance oils which are not always a good thing for the skin. You should always go for natural essential oils.

When you apply essential oils to children’ or to babies’ skin, make sure to apply carrier oil first since their skin is additionally sensitive.

All in all, be careful since a lot of essential oils in the stores are not 100 percent natural and therapeutic and may contain toxins.
